Who we are
AI LEARN is one of six national AI centres in Norway, and the only one with such a strong focus on the human role in interaction with artificial intelligence. We were selected through a national competition and are part of the Human-AI centre.
We are interdisciplinary by nature: educators, computer scientists, psychologists, social scientists and legal scholars meet here. Together, we explore how AI can strengthen — not replace — human thinking, learning and collaboration.

Values
AI should always serve people’s needs and dignity. Technology is a means, not an end.
The most important questions about AI and learning cannot be answered by one discipline alone.
We take research seriously, while giving ourselves the freedom to play with ideas, ask unusual questions and try things that may not work.
We share findings, data and methods openly. We are clear about uncertainty and limitations.
